☑️ Holiday Eating 

Hope everyone is ready for a fun and relaxing weekend! A few tips to prevent putting on the pounds over the long weekend! 

Budget wisely!- You don’t have to eat every single thing at the party or event. Choose the foods you enjoy, watch your portions, and get back on track with the next meal. 

Eat slower- It takes a few minutes before the “I am full ” feeling to get to your brain. Eat slower and take a few minutes before going back for seconds. 

Eat before the party or event- Eat healthy foods with fiber and protein before going to an event. Drink plenty of water. Make sure you are not so hungry you go crazy with unhealthy foods. 

Watch the drinking !- You can have a few beers. Just realize how many calories are in that beer or wine. Budget it. If most people cut down on this, they can enjoy a lot more foods without putting on fat.

Bring healthy options to the event!- There are plenty of healthy options that taste great! Do you research and try out some new recipes. 

Don’t sit next to the food table!- It is a lot harder to say no when you are right next to all of that food!

It’s about being mindful and going in with a plan. You can still enjoy the foods you like,  and reach your fat loss goals.
