☑️ The most important training rule for busy people?

The most important training rule for busy people is the 80/20 rule? Also known as the Pareto principle, it means that 80 percent of the results come from 20 percent of your actions.

Some things just mean A LOT more than other things. A lot of people major in the minors. For example, the person who is stressing out over the best supplement for fat loss. Or trying to find a superfood for weight loss.

If you master the Pareto principle it will make it easier to …

Fit an effective training program into a busy schedule.

Lose weight without following a million diet rules, or hopping between plans

The rule applies to everything in life.

We can use our 45 minute workout as an example.

A lot of people think 45 minutes is not long enough. Most people go to a big box gym for 60 to 90 minutes. But they are only working out for about 30 to 45 minutes of that time. They spend more time talking, texting, resting in between sets, or waiting for equipment.

In 45 minutes we are able to improve strength, cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility , balance, mobility. Everything.

We focus on the big rocks for each category. We master them and build a foundation.

Strength – There are 6 fundamental movement patterns we get people to master. Squat, Hip Hinge, Lunge, carry/core, and then upper body push and pull. This is better than trying to isolate every single muscle in your body. More functional and gives you a better workout. You do not need an “arm” day!

Email us if you are interested in our Foundations of Strength Training Programs! Give me 1 to 3 personal training sessions and I can set you up for a strong foundation for life.

We include a dynamic warm up to improve mobility, flexibility, and balance. We have static stretching for flexibility. We teach you how to do soft tissue work with the foam roller. We use circuits and supersets and fun cardio exercises to improve cardiovascular conditioning. Not a boring treadmill!

Most of you do not have unlimited time to spend on your fitness routine. You do not need a lot of time if it is programmed the correct way.
