Have you ever said any of these statements? If so, this blog post is for you! 

Focus on the negative, get more negative! Focus on the positive and more positive things will come your way. Some people create stories in their head as to why they can not do something. Successful people get the most out of what they have. 

I can’t afford to hire a trainer!

Being out of shape is way more expensive than being in shape! Think about the cost of meds, frequent doctor visits, and dealing with nagging injuries from sitting around doing nothing. You can workout and eat healthy on a budget. Cutting back on eating out and alcohol will give most people enough to cover all of their training! 

I understand everyone has a different budget, but we have an option for you! At the FREE 1 on 1 Consultation we break down our 3 services- 1 on 1, semi-private, and group training. Lots of no contract options for all of the services. 

We have a program design option for those who want 1 on 1, but can not afford it on a regular basis. Send us an email or text 757 589 7028 to ask about this!

I am NOT saying to workout with a serious injury. But if you have some minor joint issues then working out will help! Just make sure you learn from a qualified professional. 

We have low impact options for all of our sessions. We have a red light – green light system in place to give you modifications to keep you moving! There are a million exercises and we find the top exercises for your body! 


I need to get in shape before I hire a trainer! 

Sadly, I can see why some people say this. I have noticed so many places that start off way too fast with their members! Some places don’t have enough modifications for beginners or those coming off injury.

 We focus on building a strong foundation. You will hear us say start slower than you think you have to. Most people have a hard time sticking to their programs because they start off too fast and end up getting burned out and injured. 

 Focus on what you can do. If you have not done anything in years start off with some regular walks, stretching, mobility, and then learn 4-6 strength exercises you are able to do with your bodyweight and bands. 

 We have a foundation program that is a perfect fit for those who are completely new or getting back into the swing of things! 

 I have no time! 

 It does not take a lot of time to get in a good workout! Keep a time tracker and see how you are spending every minute! I am sure you can find 20-30 minutes to get in a workout. That is A LOT better than nothing! We teach you the most effective exercises for strength, mobility, flexibility, balance, and low impact cardio.
