Stuck in the house?! Or Maybe you prefer to stay away from the gym? Home workouts are very convenient. A few tips to get the most out of your home workout!

Top Equipment for home gyms

My top 3 pieces of equipment are bands, bench, and adjustable dumbbells. All versatile and they do not cost that much. Combine with your body weight, and there are a million exercises you can do.

Treat your workout like an appointment!

The hardest part about home workouts is that you can do them anytime. As in, anytime usually means it never happens! Treat it like an appointment on your calendar. Get an accountability partner!

Multi-joint exercises beat “feeling the burn” exercises

If you want a quick, efficient workout, focus on exercises that use a lot of muscle groups. Exercises like squats, rows, pushups, lunges, and deadlift variations. Throw in a few core and isolation exercises and you have a great workout.

Most people do the opposite. They only care about “feeling the burn” and end up doing a bunch of arm exercises, a bunch of isolation exercises. They feel accomplished, but it’s doing nothing to grow muscle or burn calories.

Hire a personal trainer for guidance and accountability

Investing in one to three sessions is enough to learn the best exercises for your body, technique, and have a program designed for you. The accountability of a trainer will lead to faster results.

Tips to Save on Personal Training

Nothing beats personal training when it comes to getting faster results and accountability! But it can get expensive. Here are a few tips to save on personal training!

Get a program design package

We do a few sessions to write out your program and make sure you know how to do the exercises correctly. We will then check in with a session or two every month to update your home or gym workout plan. This also helps with accountability. Better chance you do the workouts when you know you have to check in with quick emails, calls, and texts!

Space out your sessions!

Some people think they have to train with us 2 or 3 times per week to get results. This is not true. Get a package of sessions and space them out over time. Maybe once every week or two. This will save you some money and you will benefit from the accountability. You will still have a trainer writing out your program for the other days of the week.

Try group training!

If you can not afford one training, try out group training! Will save you a lot of money and you will still have the accountability and guidance of a trainer. We have small groups with

This works out great for those who want to come to a group a few times a month, but do not want to be in a contract. We also have month to month options.

Try semi private training groups!

Semi-private is the perfect blend between group and personal. Groups of 2 to 5 people, and you still get individualized programming. We match you up with partners who are a good fit. Or you can choose to create your own group.
